NSW Smart and Skilled Funded Training
What does the Smart & Skilled program entail?
Smart and Skilled provides eligible students with:
- An entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III.
- Government funding for higher-level courses (Certificate IV and above) in targeted priority areas.
- Meets Industry needs
- Provide quality training and outcomes for students

How does Smart and Skilled benefit you?
The NSW Government is providing subsidised training positions through the Smart and Skilled initiative. This is an opportunity for you to upskill, gain a qualification and excel in your chosen career.
Who is Eligible?
You may be eligible for Smart and Skilled funding if you:
• Are aged 15 years or older.
• Have left school.
• Live or work in New South Wales.
• Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.
What are the course fees?
For New Entrant Traineeships, this is currently Fee free.

- BSB30120 Certificate III in Business
- BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business
- BSB40420 certificate IV in Human Resources
- BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
